Member Shirin Ahlbäck Öberg

Shirin is a lecturer in political science, currently working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Government at Uppsala University.Her area of research is public administration, with particular focus on public sector auditing and the roles of civil servants, and on representation.She has participated in the Parliamentary Review Commission as an expert in the section dealing with follow-up, assessment and audit, and she is currently involved as an expert in the ongoing reform of the National Audit Office.

Member Robert Erikson

Robert is Professor of Sociology at the Swedish Institute for Social Research at Stockholm University.His primary research interests are social stratification, education and health, and particularly how individual and structural factors affect individuals throughout the course of their lives.He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the British Academy.

Member Yvonne Gustafsson

Yvonne is Director-General of the Swedish Agency for Public Management.Her background is in economics and she has a broad knowledge of public administration and experience from numerous positions in government agencies and the Government Offices.Yvonne was Director-General of the National Financial Management Authority from 2003 to 2008, prior to which she was State Secretary responsible for defence issues and trade policy.She also has experience from the Budget Department at the Ministry of Finance, has been a member of several boards and worked on a number of inquiries.Yvonne also chairs the Committee on Public Administration.

Member Lars Hultkrantz

Lars is Professor of Economics and Dean of the Swedish Business School at Örebro University.His area of research is public finance in the broadest sense, including transport, the environment, regulation, policy instruments and cost-benefit analysis.He chairs the steering group for the Research School on Public Affairs at Örebro University.He was a member of the ESO from 1994 to 2003.
